Uploading print files to Greater Dallas Press via FTP...

Select FTP Upload function below to go directly to our FTP site where you can upload your printable files.

For IMPORTANT information about FTP procedures click HERE. We strongly recommend reading this at least one time to be aware of policies and procedures.

Proofing your print files before sending will save unnecessary delays. We print from these files and not the layout files, so take a few minutes to proof your files. Running a file preflight is recommended. You can find helpful information in the Tech Tips section for preparing and preflighting files to get the best possible results. Uploading to the Greater Dallas Press FTP site will require an assigned username and password. If you do not have one, please contact Prepress and we will assign one to you.

Once you have the Greater Dallas Press FTP window open, you can drag and drop your print files into the window. If you are unable to access the FTP site due to firewall restrictions, you can burn your files to a CD or flash drive and upload them from another location such as your home. You will need to have the username and password. Print files may also be sent by selecting our Hightail option below.

Be sure to complete a production sheet and send it to our Prepress Department. The production sheet information is important. It communicates vital information to prepress about your printing. You can complete our online production sheet for simple broadsheet and tabloid printing by selecting the Online Production Sheet function below. For a detailed Production Sheet, select the link bottom left to download a Production Sheet PDF.
